Welcome Event & Wedding Day Transportation
August 2, 2025 4:00 pm - 11:00 pm
Shuttles (including a wheelchair-accessible shuttle) will be running to and to and from both blocked hotels (Minnewaska Lodge and Hampton Inn New Paltz) and the wedding venue for the length of the events on both Friday and Saturday evening. Please check back here closer to wedding day for updated information on specific pick-up times.
Flight
Airport Recommendations
The best airport options for our out of town guests are Albany, Laguardia, and Newark International Airports, all of which are around 95 minutes from the venue. We recommend communicating with any other family and friends who are coming to share rental cars or ride shares to Wallkill.
Train
New York City Residents
For our New York City friends, one option is to take the Metro North's Hudson Line from Grand Central to Beacon. From there, Wallkill is a 35 minute Uber or cab ride. We are also happy to connect you with one another in the event that anyone wants to share a car either from the city or the Beacon train station! Please reach out to Ali or Calvin if you'd like to be put in touch with other city friends.

Minnewaska Lodge
We will have a block of rooms available at Minnewaska Lodge, which will also be a pick up and drop off location for the shuttles on both Friday and Saturday. Please book as early as possible to ensure availability. To book under our room block, you may call the Lodge directly (845-255-1110) or send an email to FrontDesk@MinnewaskaLodge.com and ask for rooms under the Chappell & Van Gundy Wedding Block.

Hampton Inn by Hilton New Paltz
We will have a block of rooms available at the Hampton Inn New Paltz, which will also be a pick up and drop off location for the shuttles on both Friday and Saturday.
