FAQs

Question

Who do we contact about room bookings?

Answer

For room bookings, please contact our travel agent, Teri McGovern. She can be reached at sevenseatravel@aol.com or (985) 643-6958. Teri will coordinate directly with the resort on your behalf and can help ensure a smooth booking process.

Question

Does the room require a deposit?

Answer

No deposit is required to secure your room. Simply contact Teri, who will place a card on file with the resort. The resort will then charge the balance to this card 30 days prior to your scheduled arrival.

Question

Whose name needs to be on the room reservation? Does my entire party need to be listed?

Answer

To ensure a smooth check-in process, please make sure the names and birthdays on each guest's room booking for every person staying in the room (kids included) exactly match the names listed on their passports.

Question

Is there a deadline to book a room?

Answer

Our special wedding rate is available through January 31, 2027. We encourage you to book your room soon to secure this discounted pricing and guarantee your spot—our room block is limited, so we'd love to have you reserve early!

Question

What is the wedding day dress code?

Answer

Tropical colors; linen; cotton; khakis; semi-formal

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

To ensure we can accommodate all our beloved guests, only those explicitly named on your invitation’s RSVP link are included. Thank you for understanding!

Question

How soon should I get my passport?

Answer

We recommend starting your passport application process as soon as possible. While passport processing is typically straightforward, allowing ample time helps ensure you'll have your document ready without last-minute stress or potential complications.

Question

How should I RSVP?

Answer

To RSVP for our wedding, simply visit the dedicated RSVP page on this website. One person can RSVP for your entire group. We kindly request that you submit your response by October 1, 2026, to help us finalize our wedding details and seating arrangements.

Question

What should I bring?

Answer

Aside from you and your passport, to make the most of your time with us, we recommend packing ibuprofen, Imodium, Pepto-Bismol, sunscreen, Benadryl, and sunglasses (bring extras!). A portable phone charger is also a lifesaver. While the resort gift shop carries these essentials, they do come at a premium, so we suggest bringing your own.

Question

Will there be time for excursions and will they be planned for the guests, or do the guests plan their own?

Answer

Absolutely! You'll have plenty of time to explore. Since the wedding celebration takes place Sunday afternoon with a few events leading up to it, you'll have ample opportunity to discover the area at your own pace. We encourage you to plan excursions that work best for your schedule and interests—the length of your stay will determine how much you can experience.

Question

Which airport do we fly into?

Answer

Guests should fly into Cancun International Airport, which is the closest airport to our resort.

Question

Does the resort have dress code rules?

Answer

Yes, dress codes do apply at select restaurants throughout the resort. While casual dining venues are more relaxed, some of our finer establishments require guests to wear pants or dresses—shorts are not permitted in these venues.
