Q & A

The Wedding Website of Ali Douglas and Alex Slad
If you have any other questions than what we have listed below, feel free to reach out to us!
Question

Should we rent a car?

Answer

We highly recommend renting a car, as it is the easiest and most convenient way to travel to and from the villa and explore the surrounding area during your stay. Private car services and taxis are also available, though transportation back into town can be more limited.

Question

Will transportation be provided to and from events?

Answer

Yes. We will have transportation to and from the events for guests staying at our recommended accommodations. We will share more details about timing of the transportation closer to the date! If you choose to drive, there is parking available at the venue.

Question

Is there parking at the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes. For those renting a car during your stay in Italy, there will be plenty of parking spaces at the villa.

Question

What time does the ceremony actually start?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 4:30pm so we kindly ask guests to start arriving at 4:00pm to allow time for seating.

Question

Will the wedding events be outdoors?

Answer

The wedding ceremony, aperitif and dinner will be held outdoors. Then we'll dance the night away inside the barriccaia (barrel cellar). Friday night and Sunday will also be outdoors.

Question

What type of shoes should I wear?

Answer

Some areas of the venue have gravel, cobblestone and uneven terrain. For comfort and ease, we recommend block heels or dress shoes suitable for walking on these surfaces.

Question

I have dietary restrictions - what should I do?

Answer

Please let us know when you RSVP! We'll make sure you're well-fed and happy.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we're keeping the wedding weekend adults-only. That said, we know some guests may be traveling with children, so we're exploring babysitting options for the weekend. If you'd be interested in this service, please let us know when you RSVP.
