FAQs

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

Madrid has many hotel and Airbnb options. September is still high season, so be sure to book in advance. Our recommended hotels are noted in the travel section above with discount codes. We recommend staying at these hotels or close by. Airbnbs are a great option to stay with a group! Just be sure to reserve one with AC.

Question

What should I know before traveling to Spain?

Answer

- Check that your passport is valid - Overnight flights are easiest, but arriving before 12 PM can restrict your ability to check-in at your hotel/Airbnb early - Purchase a temporary international plan with your phone provider so you can easily use highspeed data to navigate maps, text, calls, etc. - You will need to pack converters - Do not bring hair tools such as blow dryers or curling irons. They will not work with the outlets in Spain. - Uber and Taxis are available throughout the city - For cash, it is best to take out from an ATM once you are in Madrid - Madrid is extremely safe and pickpocketing is not common unless in very touristy areas. Still, be cautious and keep your phone in your hands and be careful leaving it on tables.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the ceremony?

Answer

Transportation will be provided to and from the wedding. There will be two buses leaving from the Icon Embassy Hotel on Calle de Serrano at 4 PM. Return buses will be available after dinner (around 10:30 PM) and at the end of the party to the same location. If, for any reason, you need a taxi to be arranged to leave, the staff at Finca El Campillo will assist you.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

If you will not be taking the transportation provided, please be sure to arrive at the ceremony by 5:00 PM.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We respectfully request that no children attend the wedding to allow all guests, including parents, a night of relaxation and fun. Please reach out to us directly with any questions so that we can assist with childcare options if needed.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

It can still be very warm in Madrid in September but cooler at night.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

RSVP is only available online through our website (there will be no RSVP cards), and we ask all guests to RSVP by June 30th.

Question

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Answer

Yes, if you are allergic to fish or dairy, please let us know in your RSVP, and we will be happy to accommodate you.
