One day Byron came across this beautiful girl on a dating app and thought, "I've got to meet her." Not too long after talking to her, he asked, "When am I gonna meet you in person?" She thought to herself, "I'll meet him but don't expect it to turn into anything serious. Just go and have fun." Later on, they met at a park. When she first saw him, she thought to herself, "Oh my gosh... He is so cute!" His smile was everything. She reminded herself, "Remember just have fun. Don't take anything serious. You'll talk, hangout and go home that's it. Nothing serious." As they began to talk everything fell into place and came natural. After hours of talking and laughing, the two of them discovered just how much they had in common and how similar their life stories were. She thought, "Gosh, I was so wrong about this guy." Alia knew in that moment that she wanted to see him again but didn't want to seem forward. Byron felt the same. He was amazed at how beautiful and genuine she was. Not only was she beautiful on the outside, but she had the most sweetest down to earth, gentle soul. Byron was so genuine with a splash of southern hospitality. He was so different from all of the other men she had dated. Byron never thought that he could meet a girl as beautiful as her. At the end of the night, he knew he had to see her again. "No way can I let this girl go." He went home and told his friend how he had met this amazing girl that was set apart from all the other women he had ever dated and that he had to see her again. Without hesitation the next day he text her. "Good morning, can I see you again? I had such an amazing time with you." Alia's heart leapt when he texted her. She told him that she had a good time also. "I would love to see you again." A few days later, they hung out again with the limited things that they could do (it was during Covid - the end of the summer 2020). As time went, on they became inseparable. They not only fell in love, but became each other's best friend. They built beautiful memories with one another and got to know each other's families. What made him fall deeper in love with Alia was the love she had for his children, but most of all, her love for God. Byron knew she was the one and couldn't let her go. He was determined to make her his partner, friend, coach, and wife. Through each other, they learned that they could love again. So who would have thought that after meeting that one summer evening these two individuals would end up becoming inseparable? Now the rest is history, as they say. So here they are... three years later getting ready to say..."I do."
