Visa and Passport Information

Except for Indian passport holders and OCI holders (overseas citizens of India), all guests are required to have a valid visa in order to enter India. The visa process is extremely quick and simple, and it can all be done online. Please use the link below (click the "view" button) to apply for your e-visa. The e-visa approval process typically takes 3 - 5 business days, and it costs ~$100. We recommend applying for your visa once you book your flight or at least a couple months in advance of the wedding just for peace of mind! International travelers should ensure they have a valid passport that does not expire within 6 months of entering India. If your passport expiration date is before September 2026, we urge you to begin the renewal/application process immediately.

Traveling to India

International travelers will likely need to fly into Delhi (DEL) or Mumbai (BOM). We recommend booking your flights at least four months in advance, though prices may be lower the further in advance you book. There are direct flights to Delhi and Mumbai from New York, Newark, Washington DC, Atlanta, Chicago, San Francisco, and LA. From other cities such as Boston, there are no direct flights and you will need to layover. Most airlines connect through one of the following cities: London, Dubai, Frankfurt, Paris, Istanbul, Doha, and Amsterdam.

Traveling to Udaipur

When looking at flights to Udaipur from Mumbai or Delhi, there are several airlines to choose from such as IndiGo, Vistara, and Air India. Be careful to check baggage weight allowance for these domestic flights as they are often lower than what international flights allow. We advise booking these flights early, at least 2 or 3 months in advance of the wedding. If flying into Udaipur on February 18th, please be aware that the welcome event starts at 6 pm, formal hotel check-in is at 3 pm with potential for earlier check-in based on availability, and lunch will be served at the hotel in the afternoon for guests that have already arrived. Regardless of what time you arrive on the 18th, the hotel has capacity to hold your luggage if you arrive prior to your check-in time. Driving to Udaipur is also technically an option rather than flying. A road trip from Delhi to Udaipur takes approximately 11 hours and allows you to visit sights such as the Taj Mahal and Jaipur along the way.

Transportation To and From Aurika / UDR Airport

For anyone who is interested, we will be coordinating car and shuttle services (at no cost to you) to pick up guests from the Udaipur airport on February 18th and bring them to Aurika. Similarly, we will offer transportation services on February 21st to bring guests from Aurika back to the Udaipur airport. Please share your arrival and departure flight details with our wedding planning team so that they can coordinate your transportation (contact information at the bottom of this page).

Is every wedding event hosted at Aurika? Should I book a room at Aurika for all 3 nights?

Yes, every event will be hosted at Aurika! Therefore, room reservations will be required for 3 nights (February 18th, 19th, and 20th). There will be no other guests at the hotel besides those invited to our wedding!

The Aurika website says that Feb 18 - 20, 2026 are fully booked or unavailable. What should I do?

These dates are showing up as unavailable because we have blocked them for our wedding! Please use the direct booking link that we have provided to reserve your room rather than trying to book through the general hotel website.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

Any amendment or cancellation to your hotel booking on or before September 30th, 2025 will be free of charge. Only a processing fee of 5.9% will be charged. After September 30th, hotel bookings are non-cancellable and non-refundable.
