How Ali and Taylor Met

When Ali began her Dental Hygiene program in September of 2015, she had no idea meeting her soulmate was also in the plan. There were 33 other girls in the program and almost every minute of her time was spent studying. Unbeknown to Ali, her friend Casey who was also in the program was matchmaking in the background. In November 2015, Casey informed her cousin, Taylor, that she had met the perfect girl for him. Fast forward to January 2016 and Taylor was still waiting to meet the girl of his dreams. Casey had yet to tell Ali that she wanted to set her up! But at last, in February, Casey showed Ali a picture of Taylor, said she thought they would get along and asked if she would want to go on a date with him. Ali thought Taylor was very cute and agreed without hesitation. Given the slow start to this process, however, it only makes sense that it took ANOTHER month for Ali and Taylor to actually go out on said date. You see, Taylor cancelled on their plans because he came down with a sudden case of....(well, we don't know what it was. But his lymph nodes were so swollen that his mom insisted he had Cat Scratch Fever and Casey made mention of Mumps to Ali when explaining why Taylor needed to reschedule. Today, we just refer to it as "The Time Taylor Had a Huge Neck"). When it FINALLY came time for their date Taylor planned the perfect evening. They went out for Sushi (he did not yet know of Ali's obsession with the Japanese and/or Chinese food) and then went out for a 'Paint and Sip' night (he also learned of Ali's affection for wine that night). Conversation flowed and there was immediate comfort among each other's company. Their second date was a quiet night at home with friends and a bonfire. The chemistry was undoubtedly present and they planned a vacation together to go camping in Maine over the summer. Five years later and Ali and Taylor have been through both amazing and tragic times together. Never once doubting that they were made for each other.
