Another great bakery & coffee shop with breakfast and lunch options (not a ton of seating so be prepared to take it to go if you’re going during peak hours!). Ali’s favorite is the honey salted latte!

Grit Coffee, Downtown

Great coffee & some food options. Order a high-five and thank me later!

Mudhouse Coffee (2 Locations)

Another good coffee shop (limited food options)! 2 Locations - one on Downtown Mall (213 W Main) and another next to Guajiros (116 10th St NW) very close to Draftsman/Hampton Inn

Blue Moon Diner

Delish old school diner. Reservations not required but helpful!

Guajiros Miami Eatery

Great breakfast/lunch spot with delish coffee! Super close to the Draftsman Hotel & Hampton Inn.

Corner Juice

Smoothies, bowls, sandwiches, and coffee! Good for a quick grab and go breakfast

The Market at Bellair

Best sandwiches (Josh's favorite is the Farmington, Ali's is Earlysville) - yes, it is inside a gas station but you just have to trust us.

Humpback Rocks

Don't let the total mileage fool you - this hike is STRAIGHT up with amazing views to reward you at the top!

Monticello

For history buffs, Monticello cannot be missed. We recommend booking timed entry tickets in advance (and plan for a few hours!)

Birdwood Golf Course

If you're looking to play golf, Birdwood @ Boars Head is the UVA affiliated course has both an 18-hole course and a 6-hole par 3 course. Call (434) 293-4653 to make a tee time for either course!

Saunders-Monticello Trail

Only 10 min from downtown! Monticello's 89-acre park with scenic views, an arboretum & a pond, plus running & biking trails (think less views, more fun trails)

Pippin Hill Farm & Vineyards

One of our favorite vineyards with AMAZING views, great wine, and food! You can make a reservation for lunch or grab some wine and sit on their lawn (BYO blankets)

Merrie Mill Farm and Vineyard

Another favorite vineyard with super fun and funky decor. They also have some food/lunch items!

Potter's Craft Cider

You will feel like you're in a fairy forest...great cider and they usually have 1 or 2 food trucks around!

Ali's favorite wine bar/store - and you can have Luce pasta/pizza delivered to the restaurant. What's not to love?!

Continental Divide

Josh's favorite cville restaurant since he was a child! Get the red hot blues.

Oakhart Social
