A frequent dinner choice for us, we love this local eatery. Calle Sol is a neighborhood Latin Café & Cevicheria. Cooking from Cuba to Peru in the heart of Plaza Midwood in Charlotte, NC. Personal favorites include the Cuban Fried Rice, but you can't go wrong with any choice here!

DISCLAIMER: Do not be fooled by the name, this is far from a country club.. This is a Johnny Recommendation.. If you're seeking a no frills dive bar to shoot some pool, this is your spot. Don't let the secret out, we don't want this turning into another club!

A of both of ours, Rosie's is Wine & Coffee bar with a beautiful outdoor garden to explore. This is where we had our engagement pictures taken! (along with a couple glasses of Vino Verde)

Billy Jack's Shack - Charlotte NoDa

Where to begin... Our favorite spot in NoDa for 'Bar food'. The last standing Billy Jacks, outside of the original location in Harrisonburg, VA (Go Dukes), will unfortunately no longer be here by the time our wedding comes around... HOWEVER, it will be transitioning into Jack Brown's a spot we can recommend before it even transitions. Jack Browns shares the same owner & also started in Harrisonburg, VA (Go Dukes). Great dive spot for a burger and beer. Highly recommend the Greg Brady (Mac and cheese on your Cheeseburger) But another spot you simply can't go wrong. Fun fact: Our Officiant, Joe, actually help build the bar in the original Billy Jack's!

A Unique Fusion of Fresh Seafood and Original Baja Mexican Cuisine. Awesome spot to eat in the NoDa neighborhood!

NoDa Company Store

If the weather is nice NoDa Company store is a quaint outdoor spot to grab a drink with some friends. Tucked in behind Billy Jacks it may be hidden at first, but that is part of the charm.
