Portugal is a true hidden gem in Europe, and we’re excited to share its magic with you. We know that planning for a destination wedding can raise plenty of questions, so we’ve put together some tips to help make your journey to Aljezur smooth and enjoyable. The earlier you book, the more affordable flights tend to be. TAP Air Portugal flies from most major East Coast U.S. cities, making it a convenient option. For many, flying into Lisbon is the easiest route. After an overnight flight, you’ll arrive in Lisbon in the morning. Take time to explore the city’s charm – Amber traveled solo there in 2023, and a guide to her favorite spots will be linked soon! We suggest spending a day in Lisbon before the 2.5-hour drive down the coast to Aljezur. It’s a scenic, relaxing journey. Our wedding will be at the Amaria Hotel, located between Odeceixe and Aljezur, near the village of Rogil. It’s a beautiful, tranquil spot we know you’ll love. We can’t wait to celebrate with you in Portugal!

🚌 Getting from Lisbon to Odeceixe by Bus 🚏 Departure from Lisbon • Bus Operators: The primary bus companies operating this route are Rede Expressos and FlixBus. • Departure Stations: • Rede Expressos: Buses depart from Sete Rios Bus Terminal (Terminal Rodoviário de Sete Rios). • FlixBus: Buses depart from Lisbon Oriente Station. • Frequency: There are approximately 5 direct buses daily. • First Departure: Around 07:30 AM. • Last Departure: Around 07:50 PM. ⏱️ Duration • Travel Time: The journey takes approximately 3 hours and 15 minutes to 3 hours and 30 minutes, depending on the service chosen. 💶 Ticket Information • Price Range: Tickets range from €4 to €28, with prices varying based on how early you book and the time of travel. • Booking: Book tickets in advance to secure the best prices, writing this in June and it might be too early in advance today but closer to date should be able to reserve a seat.
