Stephanie and Alfredo’s love story began long before they ever officially met. Alfredo was Jenny’s cousin, and while Stephanie and Jenny had been best friends for four years, Stephanie had no idea he even existed. Behind the scenes, Alfredo had quietly admired her from afar, joking to his family that one day he would meet her and move to Texas to be with her. A month later, she invited Alfredo to her sister’s quinceañera, which became their very first official date. That night, they danced together for hours and didn’t want the evening to end. From that moment on, they were inseparable, spending every waking moment together. Just one week later, Alfredo asked Stephanie to be his girlfriend, and the rest truly was history. They spent a year and a half navigating long distance, flying back and forth just to see each other, proving that their connection was stronger than the miles between them. Eventually, Alfredo made the move to Texas, arriving just before the world shut down. What could have been an uncertain time instead became the beginning of building a life side by side.

Over the years, they have traveled to new places, grown together, changed careers, bought a home, and created a life filled with love, laughter, and three beloved doggies who quickly became part of their family.

On Valentine’s Day in New York City, surrounded by the glow of city lights high above the streets below, Alfredo asked Stephanie to marry him — a moment that perfectly reflected their journey.

While most of their days are spent working long hours, they do everything together, building a life rooted in teamwork, love, and laughter.
