If you fancy checking out where it all went down - this is where me met!
This place looks like a coffee shop but if you head inside and speak to the guy in the corner, he will open a hidden door and let you in to a hidden speakeasy, we went here on one of our first dates.
For our Arty friends
Nothing bad can happen here! For anyone who loves musicals, this is the place for you. Any night of the week, sing with locals and Broadway professionals around a piano. Dont expect much in terms of decor - this is as local as it gets. (P.S. did you know Philip was in CATS)
You don't need to leave the concrete jungle to visit a winery. Rooftop Reds bills itself as "the world's first rooftop vineyard," and it's right in Brooklyn. It's located at the Brooklyn Navy Yard at features over 150 grapevines, a tasting room, picnic tables, hammocks and outdoor games.
The original 'NY Slice' it is no longer $1 BUT totally worth it - enjoy!
We regularly check out the standup's at this venue - we always leave with aching faces from laughing. If it is booked, DO NOT go to the place next door called 'Village Comedy Cellar' it is the worst (Alfredo didn't mind it, Philip hated it - you decide who you want to trust)
One of the best experiences in New York!
