It is home to the “Painted Ladies,” restored 150-year-old Victorian mansions painted in hues of yellow, salmon, green, blue and purple. At the center of the neighborhood is Lafayette Park the oldest urban park west of the Mississippi River. It is also the place Chelsea and Alfred had their first date in 2020.
