FAQs

Question

Will you be doing a reception at home in Cincinnati?

Answer

We will not. However, we will be getting married at the courthouse downtown sometime Summer 2020. It's our hope to have everyone go out and celebrate. Giving everyone we love a chance to be included!

Question

Why did you send Save The Dates so soon?

Answer

We want everyone to have a chance to plan ahead just in case. We understand that it is in the middle of the holiday season and could be very stressful. It's nice to have as much time as possible to make travel arrangements. The winter holidays can be overwhelming, but it's actually one of the cheapest times during the year to visit Mexico. So forget the stress and grab a beach chair with us!

Question

Do I need to get a passport?

Answer

YES! Passport prices vary depending on how long you want them to be good for. It takes about 8 weeks to process!

Question

How long do I have to be there?

Answer

Come for a night or stay for a week! We are happy to share our honeymoon with you. I believe most people will be flying in Wednesday or Thursday ( if you don't want to be rushed, we recommend coming Wed.) And then we have a fun weekend planned for everyone! For those who can't take a full week off of work, staying Wed-Sun is the best option for being able to be back at work Monday morning! Alfred and I will be there close to 2 weeks so take this as an opportunity for a nice getaway.

Question

How much is this going to cost?

Answer

Well... it all depends on how long you want to stay. Right now we are able to guarantee our guests a $180-190/night per person, which includes the stay plus all your food, drinks, gratuities, etc. There are definitely upgrades and special rooms you can book with that are a little pricer. Either way $180-200 is the average cost for a Cincinnati hotel room, so come on... A beach view is way better than an Ohio river view!
