Is there a dress code?

Answer

No specific dress code, the wedding party will be wearing green, chocolate brown and burgundy. We would love for you to join us in similar colours! Will you have a gift registry?

We have created a gift registry at David Jones. We do, however, understand that for many of our guests traveling to Falls Creek for our wedding is an expensive trip and just your presence is a present to us.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is no availability to park at the Arboretum for the ceremony, shuttle buses will be arranged for everyone. In Falls Creek during the off-season you can drive into the villiage to unload cars, however, most overnight parking needs to be done in the signposted carparks.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, we will be organising shuttle buses from the accommodation to the ceremony and then back up to the reception after. We will let you know the logistics closer to the date.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

There will not be a formal rehearsal dinner, however, a group of us will be going out for dinner on the 16th so get in touch if you will be in Falls Creek and would like to join us. There will also be a recovery brunch on the Shaw's farm in the local area on the 18th for everyone to pop in for as much or as little time as they like. Further details of these are included in the schedule page of our website.

Unfortunately due to venue restrictions, only people listed on your invitation are able to come.
