We'd all love to see your kids at the ceremony! Invited guests only at the reception, please. Should you want to arrange it, professional babysitting can be made available in your rooms at the Hotel Lafayette or elsewhere during the reception. The child minders are professionals who are certified to care for children ranging from six months to seven years. To arrange for babysitting, text Jordana Montani (bride's sister and mother of two) at 716-725-9031.
If you receive an invite with the term “black tie optional” know that it mostly applies to men who may or may not own or want to wear a tuxedo. For women, it means you have the option of wearing a full-length gown, or opting for a cocktail dress. Essentially, ladies should choose a dress that’ll hold up alongside a room full of men in formal tuxedos, and women who potentially have chosen to wear gowns.
The policy of Temple Beth Zion is that weddings scheduled for the end of the Sabbath may begin as early as 6:00 PM. Please arrive at 5:45 PM so that you won't be scrambling to find a good seat!
