We're Getting Married!!!

We met our senior year at Saint Mary's College of California. Roderick was a Business Marketing Major and Aleysha was a Business Finance Major. The day before school starts, Roderick receives an email that he was dropped from his marketing class and was placed into a Business Operation course. Confused, Roderick wakes up the next morning, arrives to the Business Operation class 15mins early and sits in the back. Class begins promptly at 8:00am. 5-10mins after class starts, Aleysha walks into the Business Operation class and sits in the front, near her friends. (It's senior year, give Aleysha a break ahaha) Roderick notices Aleysha walking in the class and is immediately smitten, but he does not say hello because he is too shy. Instead, Roderick says a silent prayer asking God to orchestrate a "meet-up" if it is God's will for him to be with Aleysha. A month into the semester and Aleysha still does not know that Roderick is even in the class. Then one day, Aleysha wakes up extremely late for her Business Operation class. She is so late, that she is forced to sit all the way in the back of the class to minimize disruption. As Aleysha stumbles into a seat, trying to get her stuff out to take notes, she glances over her right shoulder and notices this handsome black guy sitting beside her. Now understand, Aleysha attends a predominately all white college. So when Aleysha notices Roderick, in pure innocence, she does a double take. Roderick notices the double take and Aleysha sinks in her seat filled with embarrassment. Minutes later, the professor passes back quizzes and instructs the students to partner up with the person next to them to complete a group assignment. To rip the band-aid of embarrassment off, Aleysha awkwardly introduces herself to Roderick and says, “Hi, my name is Aleysha.” Roderick glances to the heavens ,smiles and replies, “It's a pleasure to meet you Aleysha. I’m Roderick.” And the rest, as they say, is HISTORY!
