FAQs

The Wedding Website of Aleyah Craig and Ullic Young-Briscoe
We are delighted to celebrate our special day with you. Below, you will find helpful details regarding our wedding. Should you need additional information, please feel free to reach out.
Question

What date should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by June 27, 2026. We kindly ask that you respond as soon as possible to help us finalize our guest list and accommodations in a timely manner. Your prompt response is greatly appreciated.

Question

What if I don't RSVP in time?

Answer

Unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate you if you RSVP late. We will need to provide our vendors and the venue an exact guest count by a certain date. While we will send out reminders, please be sure to RSVP as soon as possible.

Question

What do I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "not attending" so we can plan accordingly. Thank you!

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones. However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults only event with the exception of immediate family. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night.

Question

What is the Dress Code?

Answer

We'd love to have our loved ones get dressed up for our big day. Dress code is All Black Formal Attire for all guests!! Ladies can wear floor-length, tea-length or midi formal dresses. Gentlemen can wear suit and tie with white/black undershirts. We promise once you arrive at the venue for our big day you'll see the vision come to life! NO JEANS please!!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Because the ceremony begins promptly at 5:30pm, we recommend you aim to arrive by 5:00pm to ensure you are seated on time.

Question

Where do I park?

Answer

Free parking is available on-site at The Villa.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony, meaning that once the ceremony begins, we ask that all phones be put away and silenced. We want everyone to be fully present with us and for our photographer to be able to capture the best moments, which we will absolutely share with you.

Question

Can I post wedding photos on social media?

Answer

Please respect our privacy and don't share photos of our wedding on social media, as we'd like to make a formal wedding announcement with our professional images.

Question

Have you reserved block of rooms at a hotel?

Answer

We’ve reserved a room block at Courtyard by Marriott Silver Spring North/White Oak (5 minute drive to venue) for our guests. Please book your stay by June 26, 2026 to guarantee a room at our special group rate. You can reserve your room by: Visiting the Travel tab on our website for the direct booking link, or Calling the hotel and mentioning the Young-Briscoe Wedding to receive our discounted rate. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes. An open bar will be available for guests to enjoy during cocktail hour and throughout the reception. While all beverages are hosted, we kindly encourage guests to bring cash to tip the bartender at their discretion.
