How do I get to the venue?
Answer
City View Venues is located on the 8th floor of the Bank of The James building, on Main St in Downtown Lynchburg. It is the tallest building in the city so you can't miss it! If you approach the Main St entrance, look for the overhead "City View Venues" sign, you walk straight from the doors below it to the elevators that will bring you to the eighth floor. Please refrain from visiting other floors.

Where do I park?
Answer
There is a free (until it's full) parking garage that is attached to the building, with access from Main St. The elevator connected to the garage will be on floor 4, so head right up to floor 8! If this garage fills up, there is another parking garage across the street on the 9th St side of the building. Street parking is also available as indicated by signs, with no cost or time limits on the weekends!

What is the attire?
Answer
Attire is semi-formal. Because it will be October, autumn colors are preferable, but please pick whatever color you feel most comfortable in! ...except white. For women: No knees, dresses- either tea, midi, maxi, or full length; jumpsuits, blouse, dress pants, pant suit, etc. For men: Dress pants, full button shirt, maybe a blazer, minimal patterns

Can I bring my kids?

Although we LOVE your kids, we have chosen to have a child free wedding. The only child will be Wyatt's nephew Noah.

Will there be alcohol?
Answer
Yes! We are doing a ticketed system for the bar. We're confident that there will be plenty of tickets for everyone to have as much as they'd like throughout evening, however, once they run out, it will turn into a cash bar. We will also have water, tea and lemonade, and a non-alcoholic sparkling option available for the toasts.

Will there be snacks at cocktail hour?

Of course! We are working with our caterer to create a lovely charcuterie spread for the cocktail hour. Dinner will also be ready after prayer, around 5:30.

Is smoking permitted?
Answer
Not on the terrace level. Any and all smoking or vaping is permitted only at the street level, and there are receptacles to throw away buds.

For the ceremony, there will only be reserved seats for immediate family, so please choose your seat wherever you feel comfortable! A seating chart will be provided for dinner.

What Will The Weather Be Like?

We don't know! But historical average temperatures put the afternoon high at 70 degrees, cooling into the mid 50s after sunset. The terrace will be open for the entire event, and we're planing some fun games to have setup outside!
