Alex and Summer met when Alex crashed Summer's birthday party in 2015 (in Alex's defense, Chassie brought her). Chassie and Summer have been friends since they were ten years old, and Alex was happy to be added to the gang. They quickly became best friends through their shared love of San Francisco /the bay, rap music, and late-night trips to grab McDonald's pies. Zach and Andrew met their first day of bootcamp in the Navy. In a moment of panic when told they needed to pick a person to share a bunk bed with, they locked eyes across the room and knew they found their rackmate. After enduring the shared trauma of Navy bootcamp, they were lucky enough to be stationed in the same shop together in Lemoore. They bonded over their shared love of classic rock and playing music. Andrew is working towards becoming an airline pilot living in his home state, Wyoming. Alex and Shauna met in their honors Psychology program in 2015. Their teacher was very intimidating so no one in the class talked for months, until Shauna approached Alex after class one day and asked if she liked The 1975 (which happened to be one of Alex's favorite bands). A week later they drove to Berkley to go and see them in concert together! Not only did they get Bachelor's and Master's degrees together, but found best friends for life. Shauna is a English / History / AVID middle school teacher extraordinaire. Denzel Parker

In the 2nd grade, Zach was being bullied by a group of stupid kids when Denzel stepped in and stood up for him, which immediately promoted him to Best-Friend status. As kids they made up lots of "stupid clubs" together including their "club" where they would steal chocolate milk and hide it up a tree. As they grew up, they spent a whole summer together fixing Zach's first car, driving around and blasting classic rock. Denzel is in the Navy currently living in Washington with his lovely wife Madi, and two beautiful daughters Delilah and Juniper. Delilah is Zach and Alex's goddaughter and the cutest toddler you'll ever meet! She loves to spend time playing outdoors with her family and loves her two dogs and guinea pigs. Gray Popelka

Gray is Alex's future sister-in-law, and she's the coolest sister a girl could ever ask for! From the day that Alex met her, she welcomed Alex with open arms and always made her feel like part of the family. Gray is 14 and a freshman in high school. She is incredibly talented at basketball, drawing / design, music, and photography. Keegan is Zach's step-brother, aka half of the Drunk Brothers partnership (est. 2005). Keegan and Zach often spent their time together playing Runescape or riding their bikes around the neighborhood jumping off sidewalk curbs and claiming they would get about 3 feet of air. Keegan is an incredible baseball player, a 90's rock music lover, and is a Real Estate Agent in Salt Lake City. Colin Taft

Colin and Zach became friends when they were in the same Boy Scout Troop together in the 8th grade. They bonded over playing fun video games together (usually, the kind they weren't supposed to be playing; hello Grand Theft Auto). Colin has a heart of gold and is the kind of guy who will travel across the country just to grab a burger with you. Colin is a sub-mariner in the Navy living in Georgia. If you see him at the wedding, possible topics of conversation include: how to survive being flung off the back of Zach's car while doing donuts in the parking lot, his membership to the fellowship of the scrotum, and the importance of flood insurance.
