FAQs

Question

What date should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please turn in your RSVP by 3/8/2026. This allows us to provide accurate numbers to our vendors! Unfortunately, if we do not receive your RSVP by the above date, we will have to mark you as a no.

Question

Are plus-ones and children allowed?

Answer

The name of every guest invited to attend is clearly listed when you go to RSVP online and no additional guests can be accommodated.

Question

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

Answer

Yes! We’ve reserved rooms at several hotels for our guests. You can find all of the details and booking links on our Guest Accommodations page. There are also several other hotels around Omaha, and of course, you’re welcome to book an Airbnb if you prefer!

Question

Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there are 70 stalls. The venue allows you to park overnight, but requires the vehicle to be removed by 9:00 am the next day.

Question

Are the ceremony and reception at the same location?

Answer

Yes, they both will be held at the Northern Lights Venue. The ceremony space is in the back, so when you arrive, you will walk around the building. There will be signs to help direct you!

Question

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our evening ceremony will be outdoors, while cocktail hour and the reception will take place indoors. Guests will walk to the ceremony on paved pathways, but will need to step on grass briefly to take their seats. For that reason, stiletto or otherwise-thin heels are not recommended.

Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30 PM. Guests may start arriving as early as 4:45 PM. We recommend that you arrive no later than 15 minutes before the start of the ceremony to make sure everyone is on time!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We want our guests to feel confident and comfortable while also looking their best! We request you dress in dressy casual attire—think dresses or blouses with nice pants, or slacks/khakis with a collared shirt. The bridesmaids will be wearing long dusty blue dresses!

Question

Is it okay to post wedding photos on social media?

Answer

Definitely! We do ask that you do not take photos during the wedding ceremony, we have hired a professional photographer!!
