The event is beach formal. This means men should wear long-sleeves and formal pants — suit optional. Women can wear midi or long dresses, think bright colors and short sleeves. For heels, thicker or block ones would be best.
San Juan del Sur is a small town; so you can get away without a car. Book a hotel or airbnb that's central, and you'll be able to walk to the beach, restaurants, and the ceremony.
The reception location is ~25 minutes from where the ceremony takes place in San Juan. We will be providing shuttles for our guests who don't have a car or don't want to drive from the ceremony to the reception and back. Shuttle service on the way back will drop off guests at Hotel Alcazar.
Please take $10 cash to enter into Nicaragua (tourist fee). U.S. dollars are widely accepted in Nicaragua and can be used for pretty much anything. You will probably get change in cordobas, though.
There aren't many salon options in San Juan, so if you need someone to do make-up and/or hair, contact our wedding planner, Doris, on WhatsApp (+505 8887 5329). She will coordinate according to where you're staying and how many people are in your group. Please let her know before March 3.
It would be incredibly helpful if you confirmed your attendance by February 3rd the latest. We hope you can all join us! (Please also respond if you know you won't be able to make it).
