I know this might seem "out of nowhere," but no worries I am about to give you the run-down. So, this all begins when Matthew and I end up going to Wee Care off of Lamesa Street for 5 days out of the week for over a year. We were in the same day care class but all 3-5 year-olds care about is recess and snacks. As fate aligns, we end up at Washington Elementary school. Get this, throughout the entirety of our elementary school career Matthew and I never had a single class together. The closest thing to having a class together was PE and afterschool programs. In the 4th grade I decided I wanted to be in robotics. It just so happens that Matthew and Jonathan (groomsman) were also in the robotics program and the 3 of us end up as a group. I have almost always been easily irritable and Jonathan did something to upset me and I flipped him off and he snitched on me and that's how I got kicked out of robotics. So...there goes the only "class" Matthew and I had together, but that didn't stop him. He still persistently called me "hot" walking down the halls and afterschool up until 6th grade. In junior high and part of high school we had no means of communication. Of course we all know social media is a thing and I find that Matthew messages me on Instagram sophomore or junior year. Conversation was only occasional until the end of senior year when we started talking about plans after high school. Matthew would have gone to Hardin-Simmons and I was looking into UTPB or Angelo State. Then COVID hit and we both end up deciding to stay home in Midland. In the Fall of 2020 Matthew and I started playing games online after a miscommunication on my end because Lord knows I would never voluntarily play online with someone. In October, Matthew invited me to hang out with him and Jonathan for his 19th birthday. Mind you this would be the first time we see each other since the 6th grade. We meet up at the mall for lunch and it's going great. Matthew was supposed to go to work but Jonathan and I convince him to call in because it's his birthday so why not? (Sorry Noemi). We end up spending the entire afternoon together and it felt like the 6 years that we didn't see each other did not exist. If anyone saw us you would think we have been friends for forever when in reality Matthew and I were only acquainted up until that point. Then 9 days later, our relationship became official and hanging out became an ever weekend basis. Now here we are steadily approaching moving in together and getting married. I couldn't be happier to welcome all of you to this special event for us!
