We met through mutual friends back in 2017. It was my freshman year, Mandeep's sophomore year. One day Mandeep asked me to come hang out with him and two mutual friends. I didn't even know Mandeep at the time, but I said yes anyways! We clicked really well that day and instantly became good friends. Being friends didn't last long though... we instantly fell in love and started dating within two weeks of hanging out. We were each other's first actual loves. We dated for over a year back then. However, we were both dumb high school kids who didn't know a thing about love. We went our separate ways in February of 2019. Flashforward to December 2021... we hadn't talked in years. Mandeep randomly messaged me at 6am one morning my freshman year of college. His excuse? Telling me thank you for a happy birthday message he never replied to in 2020... Zoey had to convince me to text him back, as she knew how much love I still had for him. From there we started talking every day, catching up over the missed years. We realized how much the two of us have changed but also realized the love we had for each other never truly went away. We started hanging out a lot over Christmas break. It took me a minute to open back up to the idea of us being together, but in my heart, I instantly fell back in love with him. January 27th of 2022 we made things official, and the rest is history! Getting to watch each other grow in so many ways has been a dream come true. Here's to forever and a day together, in this lifetime and every lifetime.
