FAQs

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we can only accommodate guest who are formally invited.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

We absolutely love little ones! Our reception will run long into the night though, so please plan accordingly. Babysitters may be needed to avoid bedtime discrepancies.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

No, this is an alcohol free wedding.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you kindly put your phones and cameras away during the ceremony as we want you all to be present in the moment with us. We have a professional photographer capturing the ceremony for us. Other than the ceremony, yes! Please feel free to take as many photos and videos as you like.

Question

Is the wedding outside?

Answer

Yes, as the sun will be shining, but the ceremony and reception will be outside. Please make sure to dress appropriately and keep hydrated throughout the day.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We ask guest to wear pastels, florals, and light airy colors. We recommend avoiding pointy high heels to avoid sinking into the grass. Please feel free to bring a change of casual comfortable clothes for the after party!

Question

What’s for dinner?

Answer

That’s up to our guest to decide! Although the website, dress-code, and decor is a little fancy; this is still a laid back, back yard wedding. We ask that guest bust out the crockpots and bring their own homemade dishes to share in a true potluck wedding fashion. Doing this reduces the cost of our wedding greatly. We will be able to afford a honeymoon and invite more guest who we truly hope to share the moment with.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes! We are registered through Walmart, Amazon, and excepting monetary donations to use towards our honeymoon! Click the registry tab to view! Jerod and I have lived together for over a year and are pretty well established in our home. Please don’t feel pressured to bring a gift. The registry is just suggestions as to what we may enjoy. Anything and everything will be greatly appreciated!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking is slightly limited compared to the number of guest invited. Please carpool if possible. Parking is in the grass along the gravel road.

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

To RSVP please visit the “RSVP” page on our website and fill out the online form. Please RSVP at your earliest convenience.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Although our ceremony starts at 4 PM we recommend that guests arrive at least 15 minutes early before the official ceremony start time so you can find parking, get settled and enjoy refreshments before the proceedings.

Question
