We started off as friends (best friends let Javon tell it) & had yearbook class together. We said we would help each other find love. I didn’t know Javon was talking about me, but we started talking outside of class. He told me he liked me & that’s how our story began.

It was the day before our anniversary, we were at his mom's house & I had just given him his anniversary/Christmas gift. We were exchanging gifts early for whatever reason & he kept saying I wasn't going to like my gift as much as he did his but then he gave me my "gift" of some money & an empty ring box. I was like "What in the world? Is this a joke?" but then he pulled out another ring box & popped the big question & of course I said yes! I definitely love my gift more than he does his.

Well I've always wanted either a Spring or Fall wedding and we chose lighter colors so Spring won and we were thinking March. March 7th is the day a very special lady was born, my "momma" Cora and it just so happened that day in 2020 ended up being on a Saturday. I feel like it was meant to be that day and we are very happy that we're able to get married on a day that means so much to me.
