Maid of Honor
Sister to the bride, Johee has been with Tina from the very beginning (literally). The one to keep Tina honest as well as indulge her bizarre love of "mukbang" (please, look it up; I dare you), Johee is always there for her little sister.
Bridesmaid
Tina's first friend in college, Indy is an old soul who shares Tina's erstwhile passion for K-Pop as well as her new love of cats. Their first year of friendship consisted only of MacBook photoshoots, late night walks to "the pretty side of campus," and pretending they were in a two-person girl group (we'll keep our band name a secret). Although technically spelled i-n-d-i, "Indy" is the kind of friend who's just too sweet to correct you, even after seven years (and counting).
Bridesmaid
Tina's second friend in college, Arvie grew up all over the world but had no trouble bonding with Tina on weekly excursions to Fair Oaks Mall and late night meals of Kraft macaroni and cheese. Arvie has a brutally honest sense of humor and a killer winged eyeliner. A lover of healing crystals, instant noodles, and Pokemon, Arvie is one of a kind and will give you sriracha sauce for your birthday (tru story).
Bridesmaid
Tina's sixth friend in college (don't ask what happened to 3, 4, and 5), Emma is nonetheless responsible for some of Tina's most important life lessons. From how to ask for a drink at a bar to the infamous "shoulder dance," without Emma, Tina would lack much of the knowledge essential to normal twenty-something behavior. Emma is naturally capable, terrible at keeping secrets, and the one to call if you've got a box of Red Lobster biscuit mix (with extra cheddar).
Best Man
If Bizarro Superman is the evil reflection of Superman, then Alex is, unfortunately, Bizarro Blake. Remarkably similar in their likes, dislikes, and sense of humor, Blake and Alex somehow diverge in persona, Blake the tall, lovable hairy guy and Alex, well, not so tall and certainly less lovable. From sharing literal decades of pain watching the Redskins to concocting hilariously absurd imaginary characters (Estelle and her deceased husband Bernie), Alex and Blake are best of friends--and have been since 5th grade.
Best Man
Tall, lanky, loud. Sean Song is an up and coming financial whiz. But before this, he was just an annoying 2nd Violin who did a good Russell Peters imitation. Perpetually flaky yet lovably loyal, Sean is a big dog with the heart of a puppy.
Groomsman
Few human beings have spent more time on the basketball court with Alex than Tony Liang, who presided over Alex's "fat college years" to somewhat healthier mid twenties. Tony is a guy who will never leave you on read, is always ready for a good time, and the one to call in an "emergency."
Groomswoman
Some say she was named a groomswoman because Alex worried she would flake if she wasn't part of the wedding. Possible manipulations aside, Sonny is one of Alex's longtime friends and also happens to be responsible for the image of his company, Food for Thought - Education Strategies. Uber talented, always busy, and all-around cranky person, Sonny is one of few who shares Alex's curmudgeonly humor, love of Jon Franzen, and fondness for Anna Karenina.
