The Wedding Website of Vanessa Pestano and Alex Warren
Question

What Airport Should We Fly Into?

Answer

Orlando International (MCO) is likely the best option.

Question

Where Should We Stay, Orlando or Lake Wales?

Answer

We recommend staying in Orlando, where we’ve blocked rooms at three nearby hotels and where most of the wedding party will be staying. The wedding venue is about an hour’s drive from Orlando, and we’ll provide more details on transportation soon!

Question

Any Hotel Recommendations?

Answer

We have several hotel options to suit your preferences! For those who want to stay in the Orlando area, we’ve curated a list of convenient and comfortable hotels close to major attractions. If you prefer to be closer to the wedding venue, we also have recommendations for accommodations in the Lake Wales area, which is just a short drive from the ceremony site. Feel free to choose the option that works best for your travel plans and comfort. We’re happy to provide details and help you with any questions!

Question

Is There Transportation To and From The Hotels To The Ceremony?

Answer

We understand that transportation is important, and we’re happy to assist in coordinating options for getting to and from the ceremony. While there isn’t a formal shuttle service arranged yet, please let us know if you need help organizing rides or carpooling, we’re here to make your travel as easy as possible!

Question

How far Is the Wedding Venue from Orlando?

Answer

The venue is located in Lake Wales, FL, which is approximately 1 hour (about 60–70 miles) from Orlando, depending on traffic.

Question

What Time Should I Arrive At The Ceremony?

Answer

If you are coming from Orlando, the wedding venue is approximately a 45-minute drive away. We kindly ask that you plan your travel accordingly to ensure a timely arrival. Our ceremony will begin at 4:30 PM, so we recommend arriving at least 15–20 minutes early. Considering traffic and any unexpected delays, giving yourself extra travel time will help you arrive relaxed and ready to celebrate with us!

Question

When Should I RSVP By?

Answer

To help us with planning, please kindly RSVP by August 1st. This will give everyone plenty of time to arrange travel and accommodations for our November destination wedding. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Are There Any Other Events That I Should Know About Around the Wedding?

Answer

There are no required events, but we’ve planned a few optional gatherings that all guests are warmly welcome to attend. These events are free to join and are simply meant to add some extra fun to the wedding week! While we’re hosting the wedding day itself, any additional activities like excursions or group meals are at guests’ expense. Please see our Celebration Schedule for more details.

Is There a Dress Code?

Answer

Yes! We kindly request that all guests dress elegantly and formally to match the special occasion, cocktail attire, formal dresses and suits. We can’t wait to see everyone looking their best as we celebrate together!
