FAQs

Question

Where should I stay during the wedding weekend?

Answer

We have reserved room blocks at the Beekman Arms Delamater Inn and Mirbeau Inn, both located in Rhinebeck Village. You can refer to the "Travel + Stay" page on the website for instructions on how to book your stay. Shuttle service to and from the wedding venue will be provided from The Beekman Arms Delamater Inn and the Mirbeau Inn & Spa Rhinebeck. There are plenty of options for inns, hotels, and Airbnbs in the area, should you choose to reserve your stay outside of the room blocks, but book early as this is a busy time of year and reservations fill up.

Question

What is the welcome party attire?

Answer

Easygoing Hudson Valley charm — simple, comfortable, and a little dressed up for the occasion. Button-down shirt and trousers, casual dresses and skirts, and shoes that are suitable for grass or gravel.

Question

What is the wedding attire?

Answer

We welcome you to dress in semi-formal attire. Think suit and tie, cocktail or long dresses. Don't be shy when it comes to choosing something to wear that's colorful and Spring garden-inspired! Please note that the ceremony and cocktail hour will be held on grass, so choose footwear accordingly.

Question

Is the wedding venue outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors, and the reception will be held in a tent. We're hoping for a beautiful Spring day, but the weather can be unpredictable. Please come prepared with a jacket if you anticipate being cold.

Question

What time should I arrive for the wedding ceremony?

Answer

Guests will be picked up at The Beekman Arms Delamater Inn and the Mirbeau Inn by shuttles at 4:00 pm, dropped off at the venue at 4:30 pm, and the ceremony will start promptly at 5:00 pm.

Question

What is the best way to get to/from the wedding?

Answer

We will be providing shuttle service between the hotels and the venue. If you plan to drive, parking is available at the venue. Uber and Lyft might be available, but wait times are long. Book 30 minutes to an hour in advance. For a car service, you're welcome to try Red Hook Taxi 845-876-2010.

Question

What's for dinner during the wedding reception?

Answer

We will be serving dinner family style. There will be a wide variety of entrées and sides available to you, including vegetarian options. Please let us know when you RSVP if you have any allergies or dietary restrictions.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately, we can only accommodate those listed on your invitation. We are so excited to celebrate with our closest family and friends!

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

While we would love to spend time with your little ones, the ceremony and reception are adult-only events with the exception of those included in the bridal party. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so you can celebrate with us.

Question

What kind of shoes should I wear?

Answer

A majority of our wedding weekend is taking place outdoors, so we encourage you to plan footwear that can carry you across varied terrain, from gravel to grass and more.

Question

Are the events wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes. Golf carts are available for guests with mobility needs.
