Please RSVP by Jan 31st, 2027 so we can finalize seating, catering, and accommodations. The RSVP page will become available once invitations are sent out.

The closest major airport is Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT). Other nearby airport options include: Piedmont Triad International Airport (GSO) Asheville Regional Airport (AVL) We strongly recommend renting a car if flying in. Please visit the "Travel" tab for more info.

Yes, absolutely. The venue is in a rural mountain area, and rideshare services like Uber/Lyft can be limited or unreliable.

Can I bring a plus one?

If your invitation includes a plus one, their name will appear on your invitation or RSVP. If they are not listed, please reach out to us to accommodate and plan accordingly.

What time should I arrive?

We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before the ceremony begins to allow time for parking and seating. Mountain roads can take longer than expected, especially at sunset.

Yes, free parking will be available onsite.

Where is the wedding taking place?

Our wedding will be held in Purlear, NC. The venue name is Sky Retreat, and it is located in the mountains, so please allow extra travel time and expect scenic winding roads.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors, and the reception will be indoors. We recommend bringing: a light jacket for cooler evening temperatures comfortable shoes for walking outdoors What will the weather be like? Max temp of 60 degrees, min 45 degrees. We expect it to be windy, so please bring a jacket for the ceremony. Rain is possible but not likely, however, mountain weather can change quickly. Please check the forecast before traveling.

Can I take photos?

We’d love for you to take photos and enjoy the moment with us! But please be mindful of the photographer since they are there to get the money shots.
