We're getting married!

It was January 25th, 2020 in Chicago. After celebrating Illinois' buzzer-beating win against Michigan, Alex arrived at an apartment party crowded with other Illini friends. Meanwhile, Lauren and her girlfriends, ready for a night out, entered the same party. The stars aligned and our paths crossed, setting in motion a love story that would change both our lives forever! A first date the following weekend put us off to the races. We connected over our respective cultures, love of family, UofI memories, and business careers. Alex met Lauren's family at a hockey game, where Lauren's dad gave Alex a sign of approval by handing him his first cytrynówka shot! Since then, we have shared many special memories and enjoyed trips to Traverse City, NOLA, Nashville, Mexico City, Cancun, Park City, Portugal, Spain, Munich, California, and Costa Rica. You can bump into us at most country music concerts in Chicago or on the lakefront path near our Lincoln Park apartment. We're excited to share our cultures and celebrate our love with all of you at our wedding. See you there!
