Are kids welcome?

We plan to celebrate the night away! We love your little ones - we really do, but this will be an adult only affair.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation reads "and Guest", then yes. If not, we would prefer to have you all to ourselves.

What are the closest airports to fly into/out of?

Answer

T.F. Green Airport (PVD) in Providence is 25 minutes from downtown Newport Boston Logan International (BOS) is 1.5 hours from downtown Newport

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

Both taxi's and rideshare (Lyft & Uber) are available at T.F. Green (PVD). - Taxi's are located in Lot D, which is directly in front of the airport terminal building. - Guests arriving into PVD may only be picked up in the area designated for TNC's (Transportation Network Companies - a new term coined for rideshares). This designated pick-up area is located on the outer arrivals roadway which is located directly outside the Lower Level Arrivals/Baggage Claim area of the terminal.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire, please. But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is a little too tight, don't fret... just make sure you bring those dancin' shoes! What does that REALLY mean? Cocktail dresses, LBD's, Dressy jumpsuits, Dark jackets and Light slacks are perfect! The ceremony is on grass, so you may want to rethink your stilettos.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Since guests are staying in multiple locations, we are not providing transportation. However, Uber, Lyft and cabs are encouraged and prevalent throughout Newport!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

YES! Meals will be plated, so please note any allergies or dietary restrictions when you RSVP and the venue will accommodate accordingly.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is complimentary parking at Oceancliff for both the ceremony and reception. We encourage anyone who celebrates even more than anticipated to leave their car at the venue overnight (at no cost) and retrieve in the morning.

What if Ubers/Lyfts are not available?

Are masks required for the wedding?

Answer

Based on the lastest updates from the Rhode Island/Newport government, masks are NOT required by guests during the ceremony/cocktail hour/reception. If you feel more comfortable rocking a mask, please feel free to wear one! All venue staff will be wearing a mask throughout the evening.
