We like to think of our relationship as proof of the “invisible string theory.” Even though we grew up just 15 minutes away from each other, shared countless mutual friends, were involved in the same circles, and even had our bar/bat mitzvahs on the exact same day, it wasn’t until college that our paths finally crossed. At the peak of 2020, our friend groups merged, and suddenly we found ourselves spending more and more time together. From the very beginning, it felt easy. We just clicked. What started as late-night FaceTime calls that lasted until 5 a.m. turned into a friendship that neither of us realized would change our lives forever. Before our first official date, there was already a spark. During a late-night drive with music blasting and both of us singing at the top of our lungs, we shared our first kiss (when Alex pulled over, of course!)—and the rest was history! Not long after, we had our first real date at one of our favorite spots, Rocco’s Tacos, followed by the Silverball Pinball Museum, where we spent the night playing skeeball, pinball, and laughing endlessly. After college graduation, we took a leap of faith together, packed up our lives, and moved to Washington, D.C., without knowing anyone but each other. From there, we built a life filled with adventure, growth, and lots of love. We’ve traveled the world, created countless once-in-a-lifetime memories, and learned what it truly means to grow together as partners. Most recently, life has come full circle as we bought our very first home together and moved back to South Florida, right where our love story first began.
