Matron of Honor
Jessica and I lived across the street from one another in elementary school. She was having a bday party was encouraged by a family member to invite the little girl across the street (it me!) and the rest is history! Four schools, two matching tattoos, and many, many years of memories later, I'm honored to have Jess as my Matron of Honor.
Best Man
Kienan moved next door to me in 5th grade. Our parents wanted us to meet and Kienan strolled over with his long board, fringe pants & shaggy hair. I thought he was so cool (BOY WAS I WRONG) and we've been best friends ever since. Kienan has kept me & gotten me out of more trouble than anyone. Fun Facts: Won "Best Friends" Senior year of HS. We threw an epic mud wrestling party in high school. Kienan & I did everything together. Kienan might be the only other person with as many weird hair do's as I've had through my life. Tell Kienan anything, he'll believe it. Most gullible (and genuine) person on earth. Kienan is the best person I know
Bridesmaid
We were once nerdy enough to combine our names into "Alsey Cornucci" so clearly we've been friends for a long time. We met in high school theatre and have been best friends ever since. Casey is a major travel bug, has the best laugh, and is your go-to to all things food (she is a chef extraordinaire, seriously, get in her good graces and she just might cook for you).
Best Woman
First interaction was telling my friend Kevin not to buy "that girl" a drink cause she's gotten everyone to pay for her drinks all night Hired Abby shortly after. There is nobody like to Abby,I've never met anyone like her. Truly one of a kind. Abby's certainly helped me navigate through NYC dating life. Many of whom were either in love with or threatened by her Abby is the most loyal friend, always been there for me.Abby took the chance with me, opening my baby & now becoming the face of BHE. Abby is so spontaneous & down for anything. Queen of movie nights, theme parties, Facetime calls & triple booking herself nightly. To say Abby is the life of the party AT ALL TIMES might be an understatement. To know Abby is to love her or at the very least be able to hear her from across the bar
Bridesmaid
1/3 of our YAYA sisterhood, my curly-haired sister-from-another-mister, who I have an odd tendency to match with, Zoey and I have been besties since high school. If you want a good laugh or want to quote a movie (like, basically ANY movie), Zoey is your girl.
Groomsman
Tim is my oldest friend in my life. Tim lived close by growing up, went to school at USC and would make numerous trips north to Santa Barbara during college (just don't ask him to pick up something on his drive up) and always made time to fly out to NYC. Tim is the guy I always looked up to and the one you go to if you need questions answered as he is always organized. Tim is family, has been a constant shoulder through the good & the bad. Tim probably knows all my deepest/darkest/dirtiest moments & secrets
Bridesmaid
Rula ran up to me the first few days of college and invited me to hang out with all her friends in a cramped little dorm-room in teh Santa Cruz redwoods. 16 years of friendship and 8 years as roomates in NYC later - the rest is history. Catch her holding everyone's hands and calling me "boogie" at the reception.
Groomswoman
I met Sarah working at McFaddens Citi Field in 2012. Convinced Sarah to work with me at Blue Haven in 2013 where she instantly became one my best friends & my work wife. Sarah is like a sister to me; working side by side for 6 years. Sarah is my oldest NYC friend. She's the sweetest, most loyal friend who never puts herself first & has seen me grow through the years. You'll find Sarah tearing up the dance floor and or ordering everyone tequila shots...and I mean everyone in sight
Bridesmaid
Julia was my first friend at Columbia Grad school. We spent many a long-night crying in a basement (yes, that's what you do in theatre school) and our bond was sealed. Catch Julia dancing her booty off and spreading her infectious laughter on the dance floor.
Groomsman
I met Kevin for the first time working at McFaddens Citi Field. Kevin was yelling/stomping around in full character (later known as grill guy) judging drunk musical chairs. We've had a bromance ever since! Anyone who has come in contact with Kevin knows this human is like no other. This man brings an energy to everything that is unmatched. One of the most genuine humans I know. You'll find (or hear) Kevin making the loudest most ridiculous speeches throughout the weekends events.
Bridesmaid
When I met Jen I fully thought she was too cool to be my friend. I still think that but she's friends with me anyway. She is creative, smart, funny, and one cool cat.
Groomsman
One of my most influential NYC friends. Ben helped me open BHE & has been a mainstay in my NYC life. Unapologetic Philadelphia sports fan, most famously one of Drake's many ex girlfriends
Bridesmaid
I couldn't be happier to gain Danielle as a sister. She's stylish, funny, smart, and we both love a spicy marg. I'm thrilled!
Groomsman
Zack is one of my oldest friends. Don't know if we first met on the basketball courts at T-rec where he was sneaky good or if it was Deportola Middle School. Zack & I always went after the same girls in HS, which makes sense why we became much closer after HS. Fun Fact: Zack was my homecoming date sophomore year HS (Pictured, nope, I did not include myself)
Bridesmaid
One of the funniest, silliest, most talented ladies on the east coast.
Groomsman
I lived with Zac for 3 years in college in Santa Barbara (and he lived in the tiniest bedroom known to mankind for a couple months after college). Too many stories we can't talk about on here. Zac has always been the coolest guy I know. He's got an infectious vibe & the funniest vocabulary that I know of. Couldn't imagine this day without him.
Bridesmaid
Amanda and I were the two "silly American girls" at our study about stint in The Netherlands. Three months of eating cheese and fries (with mayo) later, we become besties. Find her pulling pranks on the dance floor.
Groomsman
Met Justin playing youth sports growing up. If we weren't hanging out at my mom's house we were all at Justin's playing games & thinking we had a chance hitting on his mom. I'll be forever thankful for Justin letting me move into his living room in NYC and disrupting their lives. What a summer that was! Justin has played an instrumental part in every chapter of my life
Bridesmaid
I'm so excited to gain a sister in Stefanie. She's an incredible daughter, sister, wife, and a literal super-mom. I am so inspired by her and can't wait to officially become family.
Groomsman
Loved John from the first day I met him. John was a big boy; loud, obnoxious & had no filter whatsoever. Did not realize he was also one of most intelligent people I would know in my life. John is an incredible husband to my sister, father to my nephews & the best damn drinking buddy anyone could ask for. I admire John in so many ways.
Bridesmaid
Isabel and I met in a dark sweaty room with bikes going nowhere (a spin room, obviously). Our love of EDM and dancing on bikes made us inseparable for many of our formal years in NYC. She also found Scotty and my apt in NYC! She's basically amazing, no big deal. Find her running to the dance-floor when "Above and Beyond" comes on (look them up on Spotify, highly recommend).
Groomsman
Diarmuid's wife Meghan hired me at Blue Haven in 2013. After a few short months we would go out drinking pints of Guinness around the neighborhood every Monday night. Diarmuid took me under his wing and taught me so much about this business. He has been my mentor ever since. Partnered with Diarmuid, Meghan & Rory to open Blue Haven East in November 2018. I look up to (and am still sometimes scared of) Diarmuid in everything in life. Diarmuid's energy is infectious & you can find yourself talking to him for hours. Alex knows whenever I'm late home it's because we ended up getting into a conversation.
Bridesmaid
Sometimes it's like Stacy Michelle and I live in our own little colorful world filled with tons of silliness and tons of crazy metaphors (for example, Stacy Michelle called Scott and my relationship as fast as a 'vegetable oil slip-and-slide'. SMW is just the best.
Groomsman
Rory hired me at Blue Haven June 2013 in the longest interview of my life and his life was never the same! With his guidance we continued to build his baby to be the best sports bar in NYC. Rory was always trying to find himself in someone else & told me he found that in me. Rory has been a mentor, a boss, a friend and a brother to me. In 2018 we partnered to open my baby Blue Haven East. The one thing I love most about Rory is he is Rory all the time and truly doesn't care what anyone else thinks. He lives in the moment.
