Is there a dress code?
Answer
Our reception will be cocktail attire. Gentlemen, please feel free to wear a suit, sports coat, or dress shirt (ties are optional). Ladies, a cocktail dress or dressy separates are great.

Can I bring my children?
Answer
With both Derrick and I being educators, it's safe to say that we love kids! Although we love your little ones, we do respectfully ask that you make arrangements for them. This will be an adults-only reception.

When are you two getting married?
Answer
We will be getting married at the end of May! We are excited to have a wedding reception to celebrate our marriage with all of our friends & family on August 2nd!

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Alabama in the month of August will be HOT! Our reception will be indoors at the beautiful Bottling Plant Event Center in downtown Opelika, AL.

How do I RSVP?
Answer
We will be sending out invitations in the mail shortly! There will be an RSVP card with your invitation, that you can fill out and return. We hope you’ll be able to join us!

Do you have a hotel block for guests?
Answer
We are fortunate to have so many friends and family that are local. Although we do not have a hotel block for guests, we would be happy to give you recommendations for hotels in our area!
