Obviously. Come see ancient treasures from Greece, Rome, Egypt, China, Africa, and the Americas. You can also meet Alexis' co-workers at the Artifact Lab, and learn a bit about museum conservation.
Rittenhouse Square
A beautiful park in the middle of Center City. Surrounded by restaurants, and hosts a farmer's market every Saturday.
La Colombe Coffee Roasters
This is the headquarters for Philadelphia's famous coffee roasters. Great coffee, delicious food, and they also distill rum! Can get crowded on weekend mornings, but is worth a visit. Get the Black and Tan, trust us. The neighborhood is also full of cute restaurants and shops.
The Foodery
Part amazing beer distributer, part delicious food spot. Choose from hundreds (yes, hundreds) of beers, order a sandwich at the bar, and enjoy some great casual dining.
Franklin Fountain
If you like ice cream (and everyone does) then you must go here. Lines can be long, but it's worth it at this old-time ice-cream parlor and soda-fountain.
Schuylkill River Park
Take a walk along the Schuylkill ("Skoogol") River and enjoy lovely green space with views of the Philly skyline.
Flying Fish Crafthouse
More beers and food, and what else do you need, really? Everything we've ordered here has been delicious.
Bok Bar
A seasonal bar on the roof of a new mixed-use arts building in South Philly. The views are incredible, definitely worth a visit.

You get to throw axes. Nuff said.

For fans of medical mysteries, oddities, and all the bizarre things that can go wrong with the human body. Not for the faint of heart (or stomach).
Philadelphia's Magic Gardens
Philadelphia's Magic Gardens is a non-profit organization, folk art environment, and gallery space on South Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. To date, it is the largest work created by mosaic artist Isaiah Zagar. The Magic Gardens spans three city lots, and includes indoor galleries and a large outdoor labyrinth. The mosaics are made up of everything from kitchen tiles to bike wheels, Latin-American art to china plates.
Frankford Hall
Located in "Hispter" Fishtown, Frankford Hall is a big German-style beer garden with communal seating, game tables, & food options to soak up the brews.
Fette Sau
Located in Fishtown right next to Frankford Hall, Fette Sau offers dry-rubbed meat smoked in-house, beer & whiskey served in industrial-rustic digs with picnic tables.
Wawa
The reason most folks from New Jersey and Pennsylvania wake up in the morning. Fresh coffee and sandwiches at Center City location of this convenience store chain.
Doobie's
Joe and Alexis' go-to bar, located just feet from their apartment. Its an old-school, cash-only neighborhood tavern with pub food, a jukebox & board games in a cozy space.

Oyster House
Oyster House is an East Coast seafood restaurant and raw bar, serving Philadelphia’s freshest fish and shellfish. The restaurant is designed around a central marble raw bar where they serve the city’s most extensive selection of oysters on the half shell. The ever-changing list is focused on local varieties from the mid-Atlantic up to New England and Canada.
The Cambridge
Extensive beer list & creative American fare in a warm tavern with reclaimed decor, plus a patio just down the street from Joe and Alexis' apartment.
Bob and Barbara's Lounge
Bob and Barbara's Lounge has been serving cold beer, cocktails and live entertainment since 1969. They feature a Hammond B-3 organ combo playing "Liquor Drinking Music" with no cover charge every Friday and Saturday night. Each Thursday night they present the famous Drag Show hosted by Miss Lisa, showcasing the best female impersonators in the tri-state area. Bob and Barbara's is the home and originator of the "Citywide Special" consisting of a can of Pabst Blue Ribbon and a shot of Jim Beam. All are welcome.
PHS Pop Up Garden
Sponsored by the Philadelphia Horticultural Society, this empty-lot-turned-beer-garden promises a festive menu of craft brews and specialty cocktails by Cantina Los Caballitos. Proceeds from PHS Pop Up Gardens support PHS programs, including City Harvest, which brings together a network of community gardeners who raise fresh, healthy food for more than 1,200 families in need each week during growing seasons.
