What is the dress code?

Bright, cheerful, fun! Florals and vibrant colors encouraged. Cocktail attire. Your happiest shoes to dance in!

What is the food situation?

Answer

We will be having Vietnamese/Vietnamese-inspired food with gluten free and vegetarian options. Dessert will be a fun summer surprise!

What is the parking situation?

Answer

There is free street and paid for parking available near the venue. The opposite side of Homer St. is free along with many surrounding streets within walking distance. The CTA Blue Line is 1.5 blocks away, along with a few city bus stops. Rideshare is always a great option, as well!

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

That really depends on you. If you're flying into O'Hare, the airport connects to the Blue Line (one of the train lines in Chicago). You can get a pass for using all the trains and buses once you get here (there's even a 3-day pass for $15). We would recommend looking at what you want to do while you're in Chicago and whether it's concentrated or not. Riding the lines can be a great way to get to know the city, and Chicago is very commuter friendly, and can also take up some time (but so can finding parking in certain areas)! Our venue itself is public transit friendly, located a few blocks away from the Blue Line (Western stop) and numerous bus stops.

Children at wedding events (not a question, I know)

We are keeping our wedding ceremony and reception on 8/16 18+, or what is written in your invite. We also recognize many of you are coming from out of town and may need to bring them along or want to enjoy Chicago together! Your kids are welcome to join for the other events (Saturday and Monday) throughout the weekend, please let us know if they will be attending so we can plan for it!
