Another great BBQ and brews spot. Their 420 meatloaf is NOT to be missed.
A casual yet classy wine bar downtown. We went here after our engagement. ❤️
Great place to grab a to go coffee, try one of their gourmet pop-tarts! Alexis’s go-to is the Onyx Delight. Get it iced! The owner is the sweetest woman ever. She will give you all kinds of good recommendations.
This is hands down one of the best ice cream spots in the city. It gets busy though! Isaac’s favorite is 1 scoop of cinnamon and 1 scoop of coffee!
This is an excellent bakery. Their cup cookies are AMAZING
This is a great place to view the entire downtown city from. The Museum is full of tons of information about World War One, but does cost.
If you're interested in the exhibit on display for that month we recommend this spot. It's an impressive building and a Kansas City staple as well. There there are model trains in the back which can be fun for the kids to look at. It also backs up to the railways which you can walk out over to Jack's Stack, one of KC's best known BBQ spots.
This is a place full of little shops, we recommend the Crayola store for the kids!
A sports bar with an excellent burger selection. Get their Crown Center burger if you’re feeling adventurous.
Delicious BBQ spot and near a number of other spots to try such as Cinderblock Brewery and Restless Spirits. All in walking distance of each other! Their BBQ Tater Tots are a MUST!
A North Kansas City staple. Try their Block IPA (Isaac’s fav) or their Salted Lemonade (Alexis’ fav)!
If you like Gin and Whiskey you can't go wrong with this local spot. Also the only female-owned gin distillery in Kansas City!
We love this brewery for their unique selection of beer! They also have good food options if you’re looking for a meal
9/29 is one of the last Royals Games against the Yankees! Always a fun atmosphere even if you don’t enjoy watching the sport! Plus, there’s fireworks after the game!
