Two nights before our wedding is Halloween. Any and all are welcome to bar hop with us, dressed in costume, in downtown Charleston. First location is King Street Dispensary at 8pm, then Charleston Beer Works, followed by The Brick, and lastly Big Gun Burger and Bar.
The dress code for the rehearsal dinner & welcome party is cocktail!
We'd love to see our family and friends dressed up with us! Formal wear is requested. We define formal wear as dresses below the knee, dressy jumpsuits and suits. Suits do NOT have to be tuxedos. All colors and prints are welcome! We only ask that all guests avoid wearing colors/shades reserved for the bride- whites, creams, ivories and all gold. WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND LADIES BRING A COAT, SHAWL, CARDIGAN, ETC. FOR DINNER. If you're wanting a visual guidance, we created a Pinterest board here: https://pin.it/3j6zgnnf8
Our wedding will be an adults-only event with a few exceptions. We will only be able to accommodate those specifically listed on your invitation. We've spent countless hours creating a relaxed atmosphere where guests can let loose, have fun and enjoy a carefree night. We truly appreciate your understanding!
There is not parking at the venue. If you are driving in for the wedding, there are paid parking lots and garages 1 or 2 blocks away from the venue that you can park at. There are plenty of Uber and Lyft cars you can take to avoid finding parking.
We are doing an unplugged ceremony. We kindly ask that you do not have your phones or cameras out during this time. We have the BEST photographers and will happily share ceremony photos with you. There will be plenty of time to take pictures after the ceremony is over.
While we arguably have the CUTEST dogs ever, Zamboni and Yancey will be in Charlotte for our wedding weekend having non-stop play dates with their best dog friends!
If you have any other questions please text or email us at alexiscar.jackmann@gmail.com. Jack and Alexis both have access to this email account and will respond very quickly!
Yes! Jack and Alexis are going to drive up the California coast, starting in Santa Barbara and ending in Napa Valley at the end of November. They plan to stop and see places like Pebble Beach, Big Sur and Carmel by the Sea. Please send any recommendations their way after the wedding!
