Formal attire :) The ceremony will be outside for about 30 minutes so dress comfortably for the temperature of around 38-58 degrees. Dinner and dancing will take place indoors. There is an outside patio and a fire pit for gathering after the wedding for after- party and goodbyes.
Yes!! Invites are a family affair. We will have activities for the children and would love for them to be on the dance floor and in pictures :)
No we do not. Accomodations around Dahlonega, GA are plentiful and very welcoming. Book a place that you are most comfortable with. Air BnBs are also a great options for families.
A car would be very helpful to get around town and all the amazing places to visit. There are Ubers in the area but they are limited as it is a small town. I did list Groome transportation as a shuttle option from the Atlanta airport to Gainesville, GA which is about 25 minutes from Dahlonega which would make the Uber drive or any family pick ups easier.
The wedding is on Sunday December 06, 2026. It is recommended to arrive at 3pm to gather and get seated for the ceremony. The ceremony will start at 3:30pm and will be about 20 minutes. Following the ceremony the guests can enter the venue foyer for wine, beverages and appetizers. Around 4:30pm the guests will enter the main venue for dinner, dancing and fun until around 8:30pm. After 8:30pm guests can gather outside around the fire pit for cigars, smores and goodbyes :)
