Where are the ceremony and reception taking place? Will they be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are both taking place at Northern Lights Ballroom and Banquet Center in Milaca, MN. They will both take place inside.

Where can I park?

Answer

There is a large parking lot available at the venue.

What will the weather be like and what should I wear?

Answer

Like the rest of the midwest, weather in late October can be unpredictable. We are hoping for no snow, but that is not always guaranteed at this time of year. It will most likely be pretty chilly so we would recommend a nice coat and maybe some warm footwear for traveling. There is a coat room available at the venue. As far as a dress code goes, anything semi-formal or dressy casual; whatever you can dance in!

What is the timeline for the day? When should I arrive?

Answer

A more detailed timeline can be found under the 'schedule' tab. The ceremony starts at four. The reception starts after the ceremony and dinner. I am always 30 minutes early to everything, but as long as you're there and seated by the time the walking starts, I think you're in good shape.

You can RSVP online, through this website, or by contacting the bride at (320) 292.3398 To get an accurate headcount, we ask that you please RSVP by September 30th.

Where can I stay?

Answer

We have reserved a hotel block at the Quality Inn in St. Cloud as well as the AmericInn in Princeton. There is more information regarding hotels and travel under the 'travel' tab.

Are there any local places I you'd recommend I visit while I'm in town?

Answer

Sharaz and I are big fans of diner breakfasts and we frequent Kay's cafe in the midtown mall. There is more information for fun places around town under the 'things to do' tab

Can I bring a plus one or kids?

Answer

Please restrict the attendees in your party to those listed on your invitation. We wish we could accommodate all our friends and family, but resources restrict this. We hope that we are able to celebrate with others at a later date!
