Our venue has a beautiful pond that isn’t the safest for little ones, and because we love your children too much to risk any accidents, we kindly ask that no children under 12 attend the wedding. The only exception will be Alexis’ niece, who has the special honor of being our flower girl. All invited guests will be able to be searched in the RSVP section of the wedding website. 💛
We totally understand that life gets busy! Just keep in mind that our venue and caterer require final headcounts by September 18th, 2026. If we don’t receive your RSVP in time, we unfortunately won’t be able to guarantee you a seat or a meal at the wedding. We’d love to have you there, so please make sure to reply by the RSVP date so we can plan everything perfectly for you! 💕
We’re so excited to celebrate with our favorite people! Due to the size limitations of our venue, we’re only able to extend plus-ones to guests who are in long‑term relationships. If you’ve been given a plus-one, their name will appear for you in the RSVP section of our wedding website. Thank you so much for understanding—we can’t wait to celebrate together! 💛
We kindly ask that our ceremony be unplugged. We’ve hired an absolutely AMAZING photographer—Kas Pope Photography—who will capture all the special moments beautifully for everyone to enjoy. To help keep the atmosphere intimate (and to avoid any surprise phone cameos in the photos!), please put all electronic devices away and on silent during the ceremony. Thank you so much for helping us keep this moment meaningful and distraction‑free! 💛📸
Yes! 🍹✨ Drinks are on Skye (our dog 🐶) and Willow (our cat 😺) — they insisted 😉. Enjoy, celebrate, and sip something delicious on them!
We kindly ask guests to dress in cocktail attire ✨. We can’t wait to see everyone dressed up and looking amazing—it's going to make the celebration feel even more special. We’re going to have a blast with all of you! 💃🕺💛
The ceremony will begin at 4:30 PM sharp ⏰. To avoid any distractions once things get started, please plan to arrive 15–30 minutes early. This gives you plenty of time to park, get settled, and be ready for the moment we say “I do”! 🤍
It’s Kansas City in the fall… which means it could be 80 degrees or 20 degrees — truly anything is possible! 🍂🌦️ We definitely recommend checking the forecast earlier in the week and bringing a jacket just in case. Better to be cozy than chilly!
Everything will take place at the same location for your convenience! 🤍 Our ceremony will be outdoors (weather dependent 🌤️). Cocktail hour will be on the covered patio, so you can enjoy the fresh air with a little extra shelter. The reception will be indoors, where we’ll dance and celebrate all night long! 💃✨
Please reach out directly to the bride with any dietary needs or concerns! The good news is that our wedding will be mostly gluten‑free (perk of the bride being celiac 😉), and all major allergens will be clearly labeled to keep everyone safe and happy. We’re more than happy to help accommodate where we can!
If you’re unable to make it, please reach out to the bride or groom ASAP, please! This helps us finalize our headcount and details. We’ll miss you, but we appreciate the quick heads‑up! 🤍
Yes! There is a huge parking lot at the venue with plenty of parking available for all guests 🚗✨. No need to worry about shuttles or street parking—you’ll be able to park right on-site.
Yes! We will have hotel room blocks available — we’re just finalizing the details right now. 🏨✨ Once everything is set, we’ll share the info on our website so you can easily book your stay!
