To set the scene - it's 2012 in high school spin class. Alexis & Scott exchange some glances as they pedal their stationary bikes. She thinks he's cute. He feels the same. Neither say a word to one another. Fast forward to Country Thunder in summer of 2016. Alexis just graduated college and Scott just moved back from California. It's pouring rain and they happen to find each other escaping the weather underneath a mutual friend's canopy. They finally talk. A week later, Alexis gets a message from Scott saying "I'll take you up on that deal." Alexis doesn't recall making a "deal." Scott explains that Alexis had told him she'd go out with him if she got to choose the time and place. Alexis accepts that she might have said this and agrees to go out with him. They have dinner and then drinks. After a drink or two, Scott tells Alexis that he was only fibbing about them making a deal. And from that moment, the two of them built a sweet little life together. With less fibs and a whole lot of love.
