Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

Due to limited numbers, we hope you understand that our wedding will be kid free.

Question

Can I check into the hotel early on Saturday the 21st?

Answer

The hotel can't guarantee your room will be ready early on the day of the wedding (normal check in is at 3pm). You can either book Friday and Saturday to ensure you have your room the morning of the wedding. If that is not possible the hotel told us this. Early in the morning on Saturday June 21st, please call the hotel to tell them your name and that you're attending the Heitmann wedding. They will try to prioritize your room for earlier check in. Also, they will be happy to hold your luggage during the wedding and supply a place for you to get ready if they can't give you your room early.

Question

Can I bring a date/plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate the guests that are included on your invitation. If you received a plus one, it will be listed on your invite.

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes! We will have different varieties of beer, wine, and liquor. The bar will be open throughout the cocktail hour and reception.

Question

Are there any colors we should avoid wearing?

Answer

We ask that you refrain from colors traditionally reserved for the bride - whites, ivories, and creams. We also would like you to avoid any colors that could be mistaken as white in different lights (ex. very light pink).

Question

How should I dress?

Answer

We kindly ask that you dress formal. Dress pants and button up shirts for men. Modest dresses or blouses and dress pants for women. Please no jeans, shorts, sneakers, or flip flops.

Question

Can I take photos and videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We have decided to have an "unplugged" ceremony. This means we are asking that all phones and cameras be put away and turned to silent/off during the ceremony. We have hired a professional photographer to capture some of the most important moments of our lives and would hate to have a person's phone or camera in any photographs captured. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos as you would like.

Question

Can I take photos and videos during the reception?

Answer

Absolutely! We'd very much appreciate you sharing any photos or videos you take with the new Mr. and Mrs.

Question

What if I don't RSVP by the deadline?

Answer

If we do not receive an RSVP back from you by our deadline, you will be marked as "not attending". The reason for this being that we need to provide an accurate guest count to all of our vendors in a timely manner.
