Alexis and Randee met at Saint Francis University. More specifically, at band camp. Alexis was about to begin her freshman year, and Randee was a sophomore. While Alexis was a saxophone player and Randee was section leader for the bass drums, the two caught each other’s eyes in the couple weeks of band camp. Alexis hung out with her roommate and other band friends in the freshman dorms and one day decided to invite Randee to tag along. Alexis and Randee exchanged phone numbers and continued to stay in touch during the beginning of the school year, often staying up late to text and going to school events together. They eventually lost touch but still thought of each other. Fast forward to fall of 2020. Alexis was a junior and Randee was a senior. Randee texted Alexis out of the blue one evening, and the two picked up right where they left off. They caught each other up on what was happening in their lives, not telling the other right away how much this company was missed for the past two years. Texting until two in the morning and meeting up after classes was a common occurrence. Without realizing it, their first dates were playing Mario Kart and watching Star Wars movies. When Alexis fell asleep on Randee’s shoulder watching A New Hope, both knew feelings were officially caught. A few weeks later, Randee finally officially asked Alexis to be his girlfriend. A few months later, the pair knew they were inseparable.
