Shirley Kurtzman is from Houston Texas, the wife of the late Myron B. Kurtzman. Retired but was a model for B Altman in Manhattan in her 20's. She also had a exercise show on TV in her 20's before it became popular. Shirley retired from child psychotherapy to raise her family but continued in it part time and also taught. She now spends her time between Houston, Manhattan and Seattle visiting her kids.

Linda Shulman

Mother of the Groom

Linda is a Satellite, born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. Linda owned a travel agency and has traveled the world. Since retiring she still lives in Seattle and travels extensively with her husband Neil.

Herbert Schwarz

Father of the Groom

Herb is a very brilliant man with a engineering degree from MIT. Herb loves sports cars and in the 60's he raced them. He lived for most of his life in Seattle but then decided he would try out Texas and now lives in Austin with his wife Chris.

Dani is Alexis best friend and also a native Houstonian. They have been friends for at least 10 years and have a lot in common. Dani and Alexis also are in the same industry and have travel together around the country. She is recently married a few years ago to a wonderful patent attorney (Partner at his company) and just had a baby boy named Austin. If he is walking by our wedding he will be a ring barrier.

Mia Seth

Mia is Alexis niece; daughter of Shannon Seth, Alexis’s sister. Mia is a native Houstonian and is studying business at the university. She also works at Nordstrom’s as a make up consultant. She has a certification in make overs and does weddings, Quinceanera’s, Bar Mitzvah’s and Bat Mitzvah’s and e everything else. Mia will be doing Alexis’s make up for the wedding and photography.

Barbara Bowman

Barbara and Alexis have been friends for about 15 years. Barbara is a socialite of Houston and lives now in Las Vegas. She is an executive for a lifestyle vacation company that has properties all over the world you can purchase to stay at. She also chaired many charities and fundraiser in Houston while throwing monthly parties for the beautiful people's group of Houston. Alexis and Barbara threw in 2006 one of the best Mardi Gras parties, that friends still talk about. She also has a daughter and son who she is very close with and that we love.

Michelle Jucker

Michelle and Alexis have been friends probably for 20 years. Michelle is a Houstonian and her family owns the most famous bakery in Houston, Three Brothers. We are besties!!!

Bernice Blum- Miller

Wow how long have we known each other, I don't even know. I casually dated her brother in high-school, but we did not really become great friends till about 25 years ago. Bernice's family owned Blum's Furniture in Houston. Bernice is one of my best friends and a native Houstonian.

Philip’s son is a lover of football and is on the high school team. His position is linebacker and he also sometimes plays center. He is a straight A student and hopes to play football professionally one day. His wish list is a Mustang for his 16th birthday.
