Alexis and Paul met at the University of Texas at Austin in 2018. They were just friends until one day a mutual friend had cancelled on their dinner plans, leaving the two of them on what turned out to be their first (unofficial) date. At the time, they both had “baby feels” for each other, but just hadn't admitted to it yet. After that first date, it was pretty clear for both of them. Paul made it official a few months later and asked Alexis to be his girlfriend. Nearly 8 years later, they’ve graduated college together, raised their dog Tesla, navigated long distance, travelled to various countries, moved to a new city, and rescued another sweet pup named Watson. Now, here they are - ready to get married ... Finally!
