O'Darion's Side- Here is what happened. One day I posted a video on my Instagram story about God and really didn't expect a whole lot of feedback. Alexis was interested in what I had to say apparently and sent me a direct message. I was shocked but also pretty excited. It was mainly because this was the girl I had eyes on and prayed that our paths would cross at some point. All choked up and nervous, I didn't know what to say so I gave a short, sweet response but I knew it couldn't end there. I sent another message and ended up asking for Alexis' number. I was surprised that she gave it to me! We began texting and Facetiming regularly. We soon found out that we had mutual friends and that our life stories were similar in many ways. We set up a few hangouts. Let me tell you. She was short and beautiful! Our desire for more of God is what brought us closer together. Our times of devotion led me to the conclusion that I had found the one. The rest is pretty much history. I knew she'd be the one I would marry. Now here we are! Alexis' Side- One day on Instagram I saw his story and I was really into what he was talking about. I swiped up and told him how much I enjoyed it and how anointed he was. I was scared he would think I was weird. After telling him that I didn't think it was going to go anywhere. He continued messaging me saying he really wanted to get to know me for me. He asked for my number and I was feeling the vibe so I gave it to him. We continued to text and get to know each other. Our facetime sessions consisted of prayers, devotions and laughter. I was so happy that we had mutual friends and we started to hang out. When I saw him in person for the first time, I kept thinking that this instagram pictures didn't do any justice! Two months into dating I knew I loved him. The rest is history and I am so excited to get to marry him!
