The Wedding Website of Alexis Patsalos and Nick Blasgen
We recommend flying into Rome–Fiumicino International Airport "Leonardo da Vinci" as it tends to be a cheaper option. You can then take a train to Salerno (located right in the airport) and the ferry from Salerno to Amalfi. Naples International Airport is the nearest airport to Amalfi (approximately 40 miles). To travel to the town of Amalfi, you can take a bus or train to Salerno, then bus or ferry to Amalfi . We will be staying at the reception villa in Amalfi, about 15 min from the Church in Atrini. We recommend staying in the town of Amalfi, the other towns along the Coast, such as Positano, Vietri Sul Mare, are beautiful, but you will need a car or to use public transport to get you to and from Amalfi town. We have listed some accomodations below. There are many more hotels, apartments and villas, in and around Amalfi town that can be found on airbnb, booking.com etc. We suggest booking accommodation sooner rather than later.
