Some blind dates do work out. Alexis and Michael met through a mutual friend on a sunny summer afternoon over coffee. Alexis walked in totally blind to the date, hoping the man she saw sitting outside was Michael. With a double wave of hello and an awkward side hug, their coffee date began. Time flew by as conversation was easy, two and a half hours later they ended their time and said goodbye. Michael enjoyed his time the most and said "see you around." Alexis was confused and thought that was the end but a few hours later a text came through and a second date was put into motion. Dates in Holland, Saugatuck, Grand Rapids and the rest of West Michigan are home to the love story that God began to write for Alexis and Michael. On October 5th, Michael asked Alexis to marry him and that is what we are getting to celebrate together! God bringing two people together, who love Him and love each other and can't wait to spend their lives together. Thank you for being part of our special day, big and small, and choosing to celebrate us in this sweet way! Whether you're able to make it to the wedding or not, we are honored by the way you have impacted us over the years; how you have prayed for our lives, hearts and ultimately, for how God would bring us together.
